This Privacy Policy explains how Tradioo (Tradioo, we, us) collects, uses, and discloses your personal information. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
By using the Tradioo app or website, you agree to this Policy.
What information we collect
We collect information you give us directly and information generated when you use the app.

Account and profile: Name, email, phone number, business name, ABN/ACN, trade type, licence number, business address, and profile photo.

Jobs, quotes and invoices: Job descriptions, photos, quote and invoice amounts, payment status, scheduling details, and client contact details you enter.

Expenses and receipts: Expense amounts, dates, categories, receipt photos, and the data extracted from those receipts by our AI scanning feature (merchant, amount, GST, date).

Team members: Names, contact details, roles, ABNs, compliance documents (licences, insurance, certifications), and job assignment records for team members you invite.

Device and usage data: Device type, operating system, IP address, app usage patterns, error logs, and crash reports.

Payment information: Subscription billing is handled by Apple via the App Store. We do not store your payment card details.

Important: Supabase stores your data in the United States. By using Tradioo, you consent to this overseas disclosure under APP 8. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers protect your information to a standard consistent with Australian privacy law.
We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law or a court order.
AI and automated processing
Our AI receipt scanning feature uses optical character recognition (OCR) to extract data from receipt photos you upload. This processing is automated.
AI outputs are not financial, tax, or accounting advice. Always verify AI-generated expense categorisations before using them for tax or BAS purposes. We are not liable for errors in AI-generated outputs.
Analytics and tracking
Our app uses PostHog to collect anonymised usage analytics and Sentry to capture error logs. Our website uses standard web analytics tools.
These tools may collect device identifiers, page views, and interaction data. This data is used solely to improve the platform. We do not use tracking for advertising purposes.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, and disclosure. These steps include:

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you close your account:
